Biden ends term with most expensive average gas price in history

Joe Biden has tried to claim that he's done a lot of good things for the economy during his presidency, but Americans aren't fooled.

We know that our wallets are lighter than when Donald Trump was in office, and there are multiple reports to justify feeling that way.

According to the Washington Examiner, Joe Biden has ended his term with the most expensive gas prices in the nation's history.

That's more expensive than Donald Trump's term, when COVID happened. That's more expensive during George W. Bush's term, when Hurricane Katrina sent gas prices soaring.

According to the Examiner, gas prices are currently on the rise once again, a fitting capper to Joe Biden's presidency.

One of the biggest problems for Joe Biden was when gas prices surged early in his presidency, leading people to compare the inflated costs to what we were paying back when Trump was in office.

As a matter of fact, during Joe Biden's presidency, America set the record for its highest average gas prices ever. In June 2022, the average price for a gallon of gasoline in America was over $4.92.

Americans felt like we were paying half of that back Donald Trump was in office.

For the full length of Biden's term, January 2021 to December 2024, the average price for a gallon of gas was $3.45, according to the U.S. Energy Information Association.

It wasn't just a feeling that we were paying more under Biden for gas than we did under Trump, it's the TRUTH.

According to Yahoo, "Even adjusting for inflation, gas prices have been considerably higher under Biden. The average Trump price, in 2024 dollars, was $3.18. The average Biden price was $3.86. That’s 21% higher under Biden, adjusted for inflation."

Joe Biden can tout his economic accomplishments all he wants, but Americans know that he is lying.

Many people in America were paying over $5 per gallon of gas at some points of Biden's presidency.

We're not going to forget that.
