Joe Biden may have finally crossed a line for all those conservatives that are still mulling what they will do if Trump wins the nomination and he faces off against Joe Biden again.
Biden dared to blaspheme a president that most Republicans hold in very high regard.
Doing his eerie little whisper, Biden called Ronald Reagan a “whacko liberal,” reports USA Today.
Too Far?
Biden was touting the job growth figures from February when he made his comments.
These are figures, by the way, that have done little to quell inflation, yet Biden seems to think they do.
Anyway, Biden did his now patented “whisper” while calling out Reagan and defending his own plan to crush businesses by adding seven percent tax to a cool 28 percent.
He stated, “When we talk about 28% tax rate — Ronald Reagan was doing a 28% tax rate, you know that wacko liberal guy, you know,” reports the New York Post.
You can hear his comments in the video below, but watch how the two behind him just eat this up…
Well, Ronald Reagan also had to pacify a Democrat-controlled House when he was in office, so there were concessions, very unpopular ones at the time, that he had to make in order to get legislation passed.
The corporate tax rate when Reagan took office was 46 percent. By the time he left office, that rate had been lowered down to 34 percent.
Donald Trump lowered the tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent to make it more feasible for businesses to do business here in the United States, and it worked. Joe Biden’s tax plan will start to chase them away again.
Biden is also going after our pockets, raising the top tax from 37 percent to 39.6, and doubling capital gains tax from 20 percent to 39.6 percent for those that earn more than $1 million in income.
Biden also wants to close the Medicare tax loophole to raise Medicare taxes on those making over $400,000 from 3.8 percent to five percent. This, by the way, is a loophole that Biden used to avoid paying about $500,000 in taxes on his speaking fees and book money after the Obama administration was over.
Maybe Joe should set the example and pay some back taxes to show us he is willing to make the sacrifice. This is typical… now he has his, he will punish everyone that follows.
The good news is that this plan will never make it passed a GOP-controlled House. Honestly, I would be surprised if some of the more corrupt Dems support it.
This would take a pretty hefty chunk of Nancy Pelosi’s money, but she has the luxury of voting in favor of the bill knowing full well it will never pass.
