Joe Biden seems to think that when he says something other than what the facts are, it is true.
For instance, inflation reports came out this week and showed at 8.2 percent annual jump.
When Joe Biden was asked about inflation, he said it "averaged two percent."
What?!
I can still remember when Donald Trump rounded off a number and got fact-checked for it.
I don't quite recall, but it was a big number that was 6.9 million or something like that.
Trump called it seven, and the WaPo fact-checker called him out on it.
When Biden was asked about the inflation rate, which had been posted at 8.2 percent year-over-month, he stated, "Today's report shows some progress in the fight against higher prices, even as we have more work to do.
"Inflation over the last three months has averaged 2%, at an annualized rate.
"A lot of people are hurting these days. But today's report shows, though, some progress."
He continued, "Overall inflation was 2% over the last three months, that's down from 11% over the prior three months. That's progress."
I don't know where he got those numbers from, nor does anyone else.
It did not help Biden's case that basics were all up, such as groceries, which climbed 13 percent.
Energy was up 19.8 percent.
No matter how you slice it, these numbers do not work, but the mainstream media let him get away with it, again.
