Biden Defies Supreme Court Again with More Student Loan Debt Relief Announced

Joe Biden is on a mission to win back the vote of younger Americans by buying their votes.

Even though the Supreme Court ruled against Joe Biden’s student loan debt relief plan, Biden has been circumventing the court by piecemealing the plan.

Biden was hitting up key swing states he will need to win this election touting his new plan to relieve the debt of another 10 million Americans.

Give It Away

I get asked all the time why I am against student loan debt relief when I had to carry my loan well into my 40s before I was able to pay it off.

My answer is the same… I took out the loan, so it was my responsibility to pay it back.

Joe Biden knows this could be a key to his winning in 2024, so he is introducing a new plan to cancel even more student loan debt, leaving it on the table for taxpayers to absorb. This will drive the national debt up even further.

Biden’s new plan will cancel up to $20,000 in accrued interest on existing student loan debt regardless of their income.

Additionally, single Americans making less than $120,000 or couples making less than $240,000 who are part of the income-driven repayment plan will have all their interest forgiven.

The new program is expected to benefit more than 10 million borrowers, with roughly four million having all of their debt forgiven.

Biden announced the new plan in Wisconsin, a state that has been targeted as part of the “blue wall,” along with Pennsylvania and Michigan, as well as the single electoral vote from Nebraska, for Biden to win in 2024.

Biden told the crowd, "While a college degree still is a ticket to the middle class, that ticket is becoming much too expensive. Much too expensive.

"The ability for working and middle-class folks to repay their student loans has become so burdensome that a lot can't repay it for even decades after being in school."

In my opinion, this administration should start going after the schools for their ridiculous tuition fees rather than burdening struggling Americans with more national debt that will require even more taxes to offset.

One way or another, we are all going to pay for this ridiculous student loan forgiveness plan that Biden put in place.
