Iowa's Republican Senator Chuck Grassley recently unveiled a previously classified FBI document.
This document shares details of an alleged scheme involving Joe and Hunter Biden, related to a Ukrainian gas company, Burisma Holdings. This scheme allegedly involved Burisma hiring Hunter Biden to use his father's influence to halt an investigation into the company's activities.
FBI Director Christopher Wray had previously refrained from sharing this document with the House Oversight Committee, only allowing members to view it securely. Its contents were not fully known until Senator Grassley's disclosure.

The document reveals that Burisma sought Hunter Biden's involvement to offer the company protection through his father.
Vadim Pojarskii, a senior official at Burisma, suggested this during a meeting with the FBI's source. This need for protection allegedly stemmed from an investigation led by Viktor Shokin, then-Ukrainian Prosecutor General.
Burisma's CEO, Mykola Zlochevsky, dismissed concerns about the impact of Joe Biden's public condemnation of Shokin, assured by Hunter's alleged commitment to resolving any issues through his father.
Joe Biden succeeded in getting Shokin fired, threatening to withhold U.S. loan guarantees to Ukraine.
The FBI source questioned Burisma's decision to hire Hunter Biden, given his lack of experience.
The document reports Pojarskii admitting Hunter was not smart, leading the company to seek additional counsel.
Burisma was intent on expanding into the U.S. market, planning an initial public offering (IPO) through the purchase of a U.S. company. Zlochevsky attributed this plan to advice from Hunter Biden.
The FBI source warned Zlochevsky against paying the Bidens, fearing that it would complicate matters. However, Zlochevsky appeared unconcerned, suggesting the payments had already been made.
These revelations, if validated, could warrant a full criminal investigation into President Biden, former FBI Assistant Director of Intelligence Kevin Brock suggests.
He noted the document's mention of alleged recordings and documents Zlochevsky claimed to possess, implicating the Bidens in the scheme.
