The decision to arm Ukraine with cluster bombs is creating quite a problem for Joe Biden.
There has already been pushback on the world stage for the decision.
Now there is division in the Democrat Party, with several members of the party upset that Biden is sending a weapon considered illegal by most nations in the country, reported Politico.

There are some pretty big names pushing back against Biden on this in the Democrat Party.
But first, let’s get to the comments made by Joe’s girlfriend in Congress, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
In her eyes, Joe can do no wrong, so it was not exactly a surprise to see her “trust” Joe on this. Pelosi stated, “Let me just say, I’m not a big fan of cluster bombs. However, I have been a relentless advocate for more firepower for Ukraine. And if that’s what it takes to win, then we have to do it. I support the president’s judgment.”
Well, Nancy, it was not judgment but the fact that we are running low on munitions and Joe had to dust off the crates in the back of the warehouse to keep sending Ukraine more ammo.
On the flip side of that are some pretty big names for the Democrats. Several days ago, we covered the comments of Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA), who has a rising profile in the Democrat Party.
Like Lee, Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), and Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) are all against the use of cluster bombs.
Schiff stated, “I’m very vocal on this: I don’t support the cluster munitions. The opportunity for civilian harm is just too great.”
Another Democrat, Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-CA) backed legislation to prevent the use of cluster bombs. She stated, “Obviously, no one wants to buck our president. And I know, for the administration, it was a very difficult decision. But these are also very horrible weapons that leave civilians — and especially children — very vulnerable to killing and maiming for decades after a conflict ends. And I think it’s important that we in Congress have a long-overdue discussion about whether or not they should be a part of the United States’ arsenal,” reports The Hill.
Biden will be very lucky if a child does not wind up on TV blown to bits from a cluster bomb that was dropped and failed to detonate at the time. These bombs are infamous for not detonating and being found later by innocents who are injured or killed when the bombs suddenly go off.
When that happens, Joe Biden instantly becomes a war criminal in the eyes of the international community. Let’s see Democrats explain that one away.
