Biden Claims Administration Has Been in East Palestine ‘Since Day One’

Joe Biden really needs to get his memory checked.

Biden made a post on X saying, “To the folks in East Palestine, Ohio:

“Our Administration has been here since day one, and we’re not going home until the job is done.”

A lot of people rightfully took exception to that.

Define Day One

Before I get into this, here was Joe Biden’s post on the subject…

Now, if you recall, FEMA did not initially offer emergency funding to East Palestine, with Governor Mike DeWine publicly asking for help on February 16, 2023, which was 13 days after the spill took place.

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg did not visit the site for three weeks after the spill, and Joe Biden took a year to get there.

So, it was no surprise to see Biden called out for saying they had been there from Day One.

One commenter posted, “‘Our Administration has been here since day one…’ Spoken like a true dementia patient.”

Another posted, “Over a year to finally make it to East Palestine, Ohio for a photo op. Folks! It’s an election year. Nothing to see here.”

There were also Republicans that chimed in to criticize Joe Biden, with Rep. Jim Jordan leading the attack, posting, “President Trump: Visited East Palestine right after the train derailment and bought food for the community.

“President Biden: Visited Ukraine after the train derailment and visited East Palestine a year later.”

Would Joe Biden visiting East Palestine after the accident have made a difference? No, but it sure would have meant a lot to the local community, and that was all they were really asking.

The commenters got it right on this one… After a year, Biden spent about two hours on the ground for photo ops and promotional videos, then he headed back to his beach house in Delaware to relax for the rest of the weekend.

This could have been a huge win for Biden had he handled it right, but now he has proven that Americans are nothing more than pawns in his political agenda.

Americans Last… the Biden slogan.
