Biden Cheat Sheet for Meeting with Iraq PM Caught on Camera

This week, Joe Biden met with Iraqi PM Mohammed Shia’a Al-Sudani.

This meeting was already controversial due to the current situation in the Middle East.

That meeting drew even more scrutiny when the media realized that Joe Biden was reading off a script when asked questions.

Cheatin’ Joe

Biden and the PM sat before the press to take questions, only Biden appeared to have a card of some sort on his lap when he was being asked questions.

When Biden answered, he did not look the media in the eye, but just stared down at his lap, apparently reading something word-for-word.

This was Biden’s first public statement since the attack against Israel by Iran, so one would think he would have his remarks ready to go, but that was not the case.

At one point, someone got a really good shot of the card, which had notes about what Biden needed to say, when to pause, etc.

There is nothing wrong with a cheat sheet of sorts, but it should not be the actual script used when talking.

I did plenty of public speaking in my day, and while I always had a card with bullet points, that was only used at a glance to keep me on track during the speech or in case a question got me sidetracked during the speech.

This is far from the first time that Biden has been caught with a cheat sheet, but most of those were with pictures of members of the press, directing Biden to which members of the press he should call on.

This time, however, Biden has fully scripted answers, so it would appear that he once again knew the questions that would be coming at him.

This rightfully now has brought the question up about who is really calling the shots in the White House.

I have always believed that one of those shot callers is Jill Biden, who will likely be asked a question about this at some point.

I look forward to her going off and ripping the media for asking the question, as has been her tendency when these questions have arisen in the past.

You can read the full report on this as well as see the pictures and video of the event on the New York Post.
