Biden Caves and Offers Secret Service Protection to RFK Jr.

Finally… Joe Biden is getting smart.

It only took an assassination attempt against Donald Trump for Biden and his Homeland Security Department to agree to give Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Secret Service protection.

Ironically, that protection was provided about two hours after Trump posted about it on Truth Social.

Joe Gives In

Right now, Kennedy cannot win this election, but he has enough support to definitely impact it.

On Monday, Donald Trump stated, “In light of what is going on in the world today, I believe it is imperative that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. receive Secret Service protection — immediately. Given the history of the Kennedy Family, this is the obvious right thing to do!”

Kennedy had been asking for Secret Service protection for months, but DHS had always declined.

There are also reports that the Trump campaign has requested initial security, and that request was denied, but Mayorkas has refuted that claim.

Trump’s Truth Social post must have hit home, however, because a few hours later, Secretary Mayorkas announced, “In light of this weekend’s events, the president has directed me to work with the Secret Service to provide protection to Robert Kennedy Jr.”

There is obviously a history in the Kennedy family, so who knows what lunatic may go for the trifecta of the Kennedys. I agree, this should have been given to him long ago.

Keep in mind, this all comes from the party that wanted to strip Trump of his Secret Service protection.

Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) introduced legislation that would remove Secret Service protection for any convicted felon serving prison time.

Additionally, other Democrats just wanted to strip Trump of his protection period.

When you combine that with their blatant rhetoric, how could anyone possibly think that Democrats did not want this to happen?

My guess is that we are only days away from the rhetoric machines against Trump being fired right back, even though this was clearly a chance to promote unity in this country.

That is not what Democrats want to do, however, because they thrive on chaos and civil disorder.

They start the fire, then hide in their protective bubble while everyday Americans tear each other apart.
