Biden Campaign Writes Scathing Memo to Media

The Biden campaign has done it again.

For at least the third time, either the campaign or the White House has sent a note to the media calling for better coverage for Joe Biden.

This is something that started in December 2021, then happened at least two more times that we know of, including this last incident.

Be Nice to Joe

This was the first time it happened, with Fox News’ Jesse Watters going off…

When the GOP-run House announced that an impeachment inquiry had been ordered, the White House went ballistic.

A memo was issued to the media stating, “For years, Republicans in Congress have tried to muddy the waters by attracting media coverage of their allegations, and as they choose to move forward with impeachment, it is the responsibility of the independent press to treat their claims with the appropriate scrutiny.

“Covering impeachment as a process story – Republicans say X, but the White House says Y – is a disservice to the American public who relies on the independent press to hold those in power accountable.”

It went on demanding that the media highly “scrutinize” the proceedings in the House, stating, "It’s time for the media to ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies.

"When even House Republicans are admitting that there is simply no evidence that Joe Biden did anything wrong, much less impeachable, that should set off alarm bells for news organizations."

Now the Biden campaign is upset about negative reporting on polling as well as how the New York Times framed the narrative on abortion.

In part, the NYT reported, "He appears to be attending to general election voters by employing vagueness and trying to occupy a middle ground of sorts, perhaps allowing voters to see what they want to see.

“And traditionally in presidential elections, a relatively small share of people will vote based on any one social issue, even if that issue is abortion.”

The X post below shows the memo that was fired off by Biden’s campaign on this issue…

I think we would all be hard-pressed to show a time in history when any president violated the First Amendment regarding the Freedom of the Press in this manner.

The media was already irked by these suggestions before, so I would imagine the response to this latest demand will not be a kind one.
