Biden campaign reports $127 million in June joint fundraising

The final figures have been submitted, and it appears that the is trying to take back what was lost during last week's stunning loss on live television.

It has been suggested by the campaign of President Joe Biden that he may once again be in the lead in the race for cash, as The Epoch Times reported, now that the final June fundraising figures have been reported by the campaign.

After announcing on July 2 that it, the Democratic National Committee, and joint fundraising organizations linked with the campaign had together raised $127 million in June, the major committee for the Biden for President campaign made the announcement.

According to a statement released by the committee, the haul boosted the total amount of cash contributed to the campaign to 240 million dollars.

No Verification

Due to the fact that none of the organizations that are governed by the Federal Election Commission have already published public disclosure statements regarding their activities in June, it is currently impossible to independently verify the statistics.

On the other hand, committees that conduct quarterly reports are scheduled to release their financial statements on July 15, while committees that publish monthly disclosures are scheduled to do so on July 20.

The public will have the clearest possible understanding of the financial situation of each candidate during the election cycle of 2024 thanks to the collection of papers that will be provided.

“Our [second quarter] fundraising haul is a testament to the committed and growing base of supporters standing firmly behind the president and vice president and clear evidence that our voters understand the choice in this election,” Biden Campaign Manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said in a statement.

Last Disclosures

FEC disclosures showed that former President Donald Trump had taken the funding lead from President Biden when political committees last disclosed their bank balances on June 20.

According to the June revelations, fundraising groups affiliated with the Trump campaign had approximately $214.8 million in cash on hand at the end of May, while the Biden groups had approximately $183.9 million in cash on hand at the end of the fifth month of the year. These revelations did not include committees reporting on a quarterly basis.

In May, the Republican National Committee, National Republican Congressional Committee, and National Republican Senatorial Committee outraised their Democratic Party counterparts for the first time in 2024, according to federal disclosures.

The Republicans previously disclosed that a significant portion of their fundraising was initiated immediately following the conviction of former President Trump for a variety of felonies by a New York court.

In the same vein, the Biden campaign reported that it had raised substantial sums of money subsequent to the June 27 debate between President Biden and former President Trump.
