Biden Campaign Launches $30 Million Ad Campaign After SOTU Address

Last week, the media gushed over Joe Biden’s State of the Union (SOTU) address.

They overlooked the stammers and gaffes to applaud Joe Biden for bringing so much energy to his speech, as if 60 minutes on stage dispels the questions regarding Biden’s mental cognizance that have arisen over the last three years.

Banking on the momentum handed to Biden, his campaign launched a $30 million ad campaign to attack Trump, knowing full well that Trump’s campaign is cash strapped.

Attack Now

If the media were honest, and surprisingly, many of them were, this was not a SOTU address but more like the official launch of Biden’s 2024 campaign.

Biden shamelessly promoted his campaign and policies while taking shot after shot at Trump.

Biden decided not to use Trump’s name, instead calling him “my predecessor,” but Biden even struggled to get that out with proper annunciation during the speech…

The Biden campaign immediately went into fundraising mode after the SOTU, reportedly raising about $10 million so far, which is about half of what Trump has access to for ads right now.

Biden already had about $120 million in cash on hand, so the campaign splurged with a massive ad buy to capitalize on the SOTU speech.

Biden deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty was giddy, stating, "The dumbest thing you can do is underestimate Joe Biden.”

Republicans were not so impressed, attacking Biden for giving another divisive speech while pretending he wants unity in this country.

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) stated, "I thought it was the most divisive State of the Union from the most out-of-touch president in American history. I thought it was bizarre."

Biden just visited PA, and he plans on visiting swing states Georgia, Wisconsin, and Michigan in the coming days to push his agenda and attack Trump.

Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chavez Rodriquez stated, "We firmly believe that this race is going to be won on the ground across key states that afford multiple pathways to 270, and everything we are doing this month to kick off the general election is grounded in that premise.”

Expect more of this from the Biden campaign, which is trying to reverse the polling trend we have seen over the last year.

The bad news for Trump is that Biden has the momentum right now after the SOTU speech, and he clearly has the media on his side.

But Trump is more or less powerless to do anything about it because his campaign and PACs are cash-strapped from paying his legal bills.

Democrats are clearly panicked over the polling that has taken place, but now we can only hope that the media does not swing the pendulum back in Biden’s favor.
