When the world is in crisis, is it the job of the president of the United States to offer a calm hand.
You have often heard me say that Americans do not elect leaders, we elect representation, even in the White House.
However, I have also stated that even though that individual is there to represent us, he or she will also be forced to make leadership decisions.
This was one of those moments, and Joe Biden failed miserably.
Biden MIA
After the attacks took place on Saturday morning, Joe Biden briefly addressed the nation, and then he was gone.
On Sunday, the only report that came from the White House was from a pool reporter who heard a live band playing and wanted to know what was happening.
The White House informed the reporter that Joe was at a BBQ for White House staffers, partying it up while Americans were getting killed and held hostage by Hamas.
On Monday, Biden was nowhere to be found, and the White House called a lid very early in the day, so we were now at 48 hours without Biden addressing the nation.
Finally, on Tuesday, Biden appeared to announce that 14 Americans had been killed, and there were also Americans among the hostages being held by Hamas.
This was after Hamas had threatened to start killing hostages if Iran did not offer sufficient warning before attacking civilian targets (where Hamas is known to set up shop).
How is it possibly forgivable that Biden took 72 hours to update the American people as well as having a party while all this was going on?
Do yourself a favor… Google ‘Biden BBQ at White House’ and see how few outlets are actually covering the event.
That will give you an idea of how biased this media is because you better if there were a Republican in the White House while all this was happening, the media would be having a heart attack right now.
