Joe Biden continues his assault on the fossil fuel industry.
The man is completely out of control, trying to put legislation in place that will ban drilling on federal lands and waters indefinitely, reports Yahoo.
In all, there are 16 million acres of land and water that will now fall under federal protection.
No More Drilling
The new rule was introduced by the Department of Interior (DOI) on Sunday.
The agency stated that it will now "establish maximum protection" for 13 million acres of land and 2.8 million acres of water.
The DOI stated, "With these actions, President Biden continues to deliver on the most aggressive climate agenda in American history. He has made the United States a magnet for clean energy manufacturing and jobs. He secured record investments in climate resilience and environmental justice.
"And his economic agenda has put the United States back on track to reach its climate goals for 2030 and 2050, all while reducing America's reliance on oil and protecting American families from the impact of Putin's war on global energy markets," reports Fox News.
This shuts down every inch of the Arctic ocean that the government owns for fossil fuel production for the foreseeable future.
Biden does not appear to be done, either, as the agency stated that he is targeting more areas.
The DOI stated that he will also limit fossil fuel production in Teshekpuk Lake, Utukok Uplands, Colville River, Kasegaluk Lagoon and Peard Bay "special areas" known for their rich wildlife populations.
A former senior Bureau of Land Management stated, "It's a totally political decision, it's not based on science, it's not based on climate change, it's not based on biological resources.
"They're pandering solely for political purposes and not paying attention to the science."
Biden did, however, approve the Willow Project in Alaska, which has Democrats up in arms.
All of his land-hoarding moves fell on deaf ears because he has not caved to every demand, and this will surely cost him support.
