Biden facing pressure to spare federal death row inmates

President Joe Biden is being BEGGED to pardon 40 inmates on federal death row.

According to legal professionals representing the inmates and activists fighting to have their lives spared, they fear the day that President Donald Trump takes office and believe he will authorize an execution spree on death row inmates.

Many of those begging for their pardon noted that when Trump was in office in 2020-2021, America underwent the most federal executions in over 120 years.

“We are begging President Biden to save these lives, so that Trump will not have an opportunity for another killing spree – because that’s what it will be,” said Rev. Sharon Risher.

The executive director of Death Penalty Action, Abraham Bonowitz, also released a statement on the matter.

“Commuting all death sentences would be the one thing that Biden could do to actually live up to his stated desire to end the federal death penalty. Once a president commutes somebody’s sentence, that cannot be undone,” said Bonowitz.

Another federal public defender, Kelley Henry, said that “you have to believe it when Trump says he’s going to execute all 40 people.”

“He killed 13 in the middle of a global pandemic, all of whom had serious constitutional issues about their sentences,” Henry said.

At the end of the day, there is a reason those 40 inmates are on DEATH ROW.

They all committed heinous crimes that lead to a jury determining them guilty of crimes that were so bad it resulted in the death penalty.

However, Joe Biden will soon have to make a decision if he is going to act on the pleas of those representing the 40 death row inmates.

Do you think Joe Biden will pardon the 40 on death row while he still can, or will he do nothing?
