Biden Ambassador Gushes Over Qatar

One of Joe Biden’s ambassadors is taking some serious heat over comments made about Qatar recently.

U.S. Ambassador to Qatar, Tim Davis, recently applauded Qatar for the role it played in helping get hostages released from Hamas.

He was roasted over the fact that Hamas leadership resides in Qatar without threat of capture and prosecution.

Can’t Stay Here

Davis put up a post on X celebrating Qatar National Day. In the post, he stated, “As U.S. Ambassador to Qatar, I consider myself the most fortunate U.S. Ambassador in the world.

“The U.S.-Qatar partnership could not be stronger, and Qatar could not have done more than it did in 2023 to play an indispensable role on the world stage. To all Qatari citizens and residents, congratulations on Qatar National Day!”

Three of the prominent Hamas leaders live in Doha, the capital city of Qatar, which is where they celebrated the attack against Israel on October 7.

The Biden administration has coddled up to Qatar, authorizing a $1 billion arms sale to Qatar even though we know terrorist groups are operating within Qatar’s borders.

Qatar has also been accused of funding terrorist organizations, including groups responsible for the 9/11 attack in the United States.

For instance, in 2017, former Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) testified, “Qatar has openly housed Hamas leaders, Taliban leaders, and has several individuals who have been sanctioned by our U.S. Treasury Department, and it has failed to prosecute them.

“At least one high-ranking Qatari official provided support to the mastermind of the 9/11 terror attacks against our country, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad.”

There just seems to be an obsession by Democrats in general and this administration in particular to coddle these Middle Eastern nations that pose a real threat to our country and our allies in the Middle East, specifically Israel.
