Biden Administration Extends Deportation Shields for Thousands of Illegal Immigrants

The Biden administration has extended deportation shields to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants in an order issued on Friday.

This move from the Biden administration comes just weeks before the incoming Trump administration is expected to launch a historic deportation operation that could see millions of illegals removed from the country.

In an order on Friday, the Department of Homeland Security announced it is extending Temporary Protected Status for El Salvador, Venezuela, Sudan, and Ukraine for 18 months.

The Biden administration claimed that instability in these countries meant that illegal immigrants from those regions must remain in the United States.

The inclusion of Venezuela on this list of supposedly unstable countries makes it clear that this order is specifically designed to stop Trump's deportation plans as Venezuelans make up hundreds of thousands of illegals that Trump intends to deport.

Shielding Illegal Immigrants

The Biden administration is doing everything in its power to protect illegal immigrants who were let in by the thousands over the past few years.

The TPS program protects illegal immigrants from deportation and work permits for nationals living in the U.S. if their country of origin is determined to be unsafe for them to be returned.

DHS claims that there are environmental disasters in El Salvador, such as storms and heavy rainfall, that mean these illegal immigrants cannot possibly be sent back to their countries.

El Salvador has a very distinct rainy season that occurs annually, and the Biden administration wants Americans to believe that the country is unsafe for these illegal immigrants, and they must remain here for another 18 months.

The breakdown of protected immigrants is absolutely astonishing as a monumental 600,000 nationals from Venezuela are now protected. A further 232,000 immigrants from El Salvador are also now shielded.

That number is double the number of nationals from Ukraine, a country that is engaged in a full-scale war with Russia. Yet somehow, we have eight times that number of immigrants from Venezuela, a country that is not embroiled in war.

Preparing For Trump

President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th commander in chief on Jan. 20, and he wants to begin deportations on day one.

Biden has been doing everything in his power to frustrate and kneecap Trump's plans from banning offshore oil drilling to protecting hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from deportation.

The current president couldn't be bothered to do anything for the American people, but he has all the energy in the world to work against us. The removal of millions of illegal immigrants will have untold economic benefits for American citizens, and Trump is determined to see his mission through.
