Joe Biden just had his moment in the sunshine, but it appears to be over.
The latest round of polling is out and it is not good for Joe and Democrats.
A traditionally friendly poll for Democrats, the ABC/Washington Post poll, now has Biden back under 40 percent.
Not Buying It
We need to see more polls going south before we start popping champagne bottles, this is still pretty bad news for Joe Biden.
Biden slipped back under 40 percent after several bumps cost him the momentum he had received from the perception of his legislative “wins.”
The poll had Biden at 39 percent approval to a 53 percent disapproval rating.
The economy and inflation continue to be a major concern, which is a problem for Democrats.
The poll gave Republicans a double-digit lead on who voters would prefer to lead the way out of this mess that Joe Biden has created.
The economy also continues to be an area where Joe Biden takes his biggest hit.
He was polling at a mere 36 percent approval on the economy, and I would really like to talk to those 36 percent to see how they could possibly think Joe is doing a good job there.

The fact that Biden and his administration continue to lie to the American people on just about every front seems to finally be taking its toll.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre surely did not help when she misrepresented Senator Graham’s (R-S.C.) abortion bill.
Jean-Pierre is a constant source of misinformation and people are getting sick of being lied to so blatantly.
We all expect a press secretary to offer some spin, but she has been out of control and outright lying when she does the media circuit on Sunday mornings.
September’s inflation report could be the deciding factor for many and if they continue to see a slide, I think most moderates will just give up on Democrats.
