Battleground Polls: Trump Leads Biden in Arizona and Nevada

If we wind up with Trump v. Biden II, this election will be decided among key battleground states.

There will be no upsets in red or blue states, so states like Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio are going to be the difference makers.

Polling was recently conducted in two of those states, and the bad news for Biden is that Trump is ahead in both Arizona and Nevada, and it only gets worse for Biden if there is a third-party candidate.

Joe Getting Dominated

National polls are tricky because they are irrelevant in a presidential election.

If the polls have an abundance of blue state voters, Joe Biden will be ahead, and Trump will be ahead if there is an abundance of voters polled from red states.

So, the only polls we need to be watching are among the 10 or so states that will serve as battleground states in this election, with two of those states now being Arizona and Nevada.

According to the latest Emerson College Polling/The Hill poll, Trump leads Biden 46-43 if they are head-to-head in Arizona, and Trump extends that lead by three additional points with a third-party candidate.

In Nevada, the latest Emerson College Polling/KLAS-TV/The Hill poll has Donald Trump ahead of Joe Biden 46-40. If they are heads up, Trump picks up an additional four points.

A key issue that is hurting Joe Biden in both states is his age, even though Trump is only a few years younger than Biden.

Trump, however, is not slurring his words during speeches and falling up airplane steps.

The report issued by Special Counsel Hur on the classified documents investigation into Joe Biden seems to be the killer for Joe, as it more or less called him mentally unfit to stand trial.

This far out, of course, these polls could change dramatically, but right now, it appears the only thing stopping Trump from winning the election will be a guilty verdict in one of his federal cases.
