Ballots Found After Falling Off Truck in Florida
The ineptitude of election personnel never ceases to amaze me.
As an example, let’s head to Florida, where several boxes of ballots literally fell off the back of a truck onto the highway.
Thankfully, a good Samaritan found them and turned them in to the local police.
Oops
I just cannot imagine putting ballots in a vehicle in a way so as not to secure them for the trip to ensure they arrived safely.
Yet, that is exactly what a Miami-Dade election work did.
I would embed the video, but of course it is being blocked from being embedded, but you can view it on X.
A car is traveling down the road when the driver sees several boxes fall out of the back of a truck. He stops to gather them up only to realize they are sealed ballot boxes.
Christina White, the county’s elections supervisor, explained, “The worker forgot to lock the back of the truck, and as they drove off, one sealed bin and one sealed bag fell out.”
White also confirmed that the ballots were recovered and still valid, adding, “Upon arrival at the police department, Election staff verified all seals were intact and nothing was tampered with or damaged."
The election worker responsible has since been fired for the negligence, with White confirming, “While unintentional, the Elections Department has zero tolerance for error and therefore the employee was terminated."
I have already seen posts blowing up online about ballots being purposely thrown out, but rest assured, that was not the case here.
This was just a worker who clearly did not care about the job, which resulted in the ballots falling out of the truck.
Having said that, this is what gives conspiracy theorists fuel for their narratives about the elections being rigged.
Simply put, our election workers have to be better; they actually need to be flawless in this type of environment.
