At Least 15 Dead After Migrant Boat Capsized

They keep coming, and they keep dying… yet we continue to hear no outrage against Biden as we have in the past against Trump.

The latest tragedy on the migrant front is the death of 15 migrants when a boat capsized off the coast of Senegal, reported Reuters.

The accident reportedly occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, only hours away from some of the most popular beaches in Ouakam.

Just Gone…

President Macky Sall of Senegal stated, “I express my deep sorrow following the death of fifteen Senegalese in the sinking of a canoe off the coast of Dakar. My heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims,” reported the Daily Caller.

Babacar Diallo, a local fisherman was there when they started to pull bodies out of the water.

He stated, “We saw three people, then five, and then there were a dozen bodies that were pulled out of the water.”

The route to Spain’s Canary Islands via the Atlantic is reportedly one of the more dangerous routes these people can take, but they continue to try to cross.

On July 12, another boat that had been carrying 155 people capsized. In that accident, eight people died.

On July 7, 90 people were found in distress, seven people died, and 50 were rescued when another boat taking this route had capsized.

In October 2020, more than 140 people drowned off the coast of Senegal in one of the worst shipwrecks of the season.

The fisherman warned, “All the young people have to understand that it’s not worth it. God can give them what they want here.”

You see, this is what happens when you continue to promise people a better life here in the United States when the reality is that right now, our country is struggling just as much as anyone else.

When these migrants make their journey here, most of them only add to the homeless and unemployment issues we are facing.

The days of the United States having streets paved with gold are long gone… so stop coming here!
