Argentina’s Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner came inches from losing her life.
A video has emerged of a man pulling a gun within inches of her face.
The attempt failed, however, with the assassin not even getting a shot off.

The attempt on her life took place outside of Fernandez de Kirchner’s Buenos Aires home.
The former president is currently in a corruption trial.
Large protesters have gathered outside the home to support the former president.

The economy minister, Sergio Massa, stated, “When hate and violence prevail over debate, societies are destroyed and situations like these arise: attempted assassination.”
The man who held the weapon you saw in the video has been arrested and is believed to be Brazilian.
A gun was found within meters of the attempted assassination, and authorities confirmed it was loaded.
Brazil’s Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva stated, “Cristina is the victim of a criminal fascist who does not know how to respect differences.
