Argentine President Suggests Sanctions Against Venezuela After Biden Relief

It would appear that United States citizens are not the only people upset with Joe Biden cowering to other nations.

Argentine President Javier Milei has suggested hitting Venezuela with diplomatic sanctions after Joe Biden caved and relieved sanctions on the country’s oil and gas programs.

He further stated that he would be more than happy to take up the issue with other world leaders to do the same.

In October, the Biden administration rolled back sanctions against Venezuela that dated back to the Trump administration.

That sanction relief would allow Venezuela to “produce and export oil to its chosen markets for the next six months without limitation,” according to reports at the time.

This would also give Joe Biden another country to import oil from since he is trying to cripple American fossil fuel producers.

Milei clearly believes that Joe Biden dropped the ball on this, and is now pushing the idea of putting sanctions back in place against Venezuela.

He stated, “So for starters we make an emphatic condemnation, we raise those banners everywhere, and obviously if there were to be sanctions, I would not have any kind of problem [with that].”

When he was asked if he would be encouraging other countries to do the same, he responded, “I would be willing to do it because the carnage that is Venezuela is truly unheard of, the same as the island prison of Cuba.”

Biden's excuse for lifting the sanctions was to promote a “free and fair” presidential election, but dictator Nicolás Maduro has not abided by that agreement in any way, shape, or form.

Yet, the Biden administration has done nothing to hold him accountable.

Rather than a free and fair election, Maduro instructed the National Electoral Council (CNE) to handpick candidates who would be permitted to run in the election.

The top opposition candidate, María Corina Machado, has been banned from running, so there is clearly nothing “fair” about the upcoming July election.
