Appeals Court Upholds Non-Voting Rights for Foreigners

One of the new pushes for Democrats is to allow non-citizens the right to vote in local elections.

Make no mistake about it, they want this as a way to expand their rights into federal elections.

Perhaps the court realized that and upheld a previous court ruling blocking voting rights for foreigners in New York City.

Not Citizen, No Vote

This has always been the concern of conservatives regarding the ridiculous Biden border policy.

We have all long believed that Democrats wanted to open the borders to bring in more Democrat voters.

When legislation was proposed to allow non-citizens to vote in local elections, it just proved our point that this was being done as a way for Democrats to ensure they would control local politics.

To that point, in January 2022, a plan was proposed that would have given 800,000 foreigners the right to vote in New York City for local elections.

A suit was then brought against Mayor Adams and the Board of Elections by "Black New Yorkers, along with naturalized American citizens, the New York State Republican Party, the Republican National Committee (RNC), and Democrat officials like Councilman Robert Holden," reported Breitbart.

In June, the New York Supreme Court ruled on the case, blocking the legislation.

On Wednesday, an appellate court in New York upheld the ruling.

Black New Yorkers in the case were being represented by Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) President J. Christian Adams, who called this an “important step” in stopping foreign influence in our elections.

Mayor Adams responded to the decision, stating, “The Public Interest Legal Foundation’s lawsuit shows that not only did this foreign citizen voting law violate New York’s laws but also the U.S. Constitution and Voting Rights Act.

“Members of the New York City Council made explicit statements that race was the motivation behind this voting law. In America, we do not allow race-based voting restrictions.”

The appellate court also noted that in many cases, the percentage of foreign nationals that would have been eligible to vote was far more than the margin of victories in many local elections.

This is the Democrat plan, but thankfully, the courts stopped it from happening… this time.
