All systems are still green for Dylann Roof to be executed.
Seven years ago, Roof carried out one of the most horrific hate crimes in modern days.
He walked into a South Carolina church and opened fire, killing nine black people in attendance that day.
Going to the Chair
Roof refuses to allow his attorneys to bring his mental health in the original case.
He would eventually fire his legal team over the matter.
Now that he is on death row, the situation has changed.
His new legal team wants his mental health considered, but the Supreme Court denied the appeal without comment.
Roof is currently awaiting his execution in an Indiana prison.
He was the first person sentenced to death for the federal prosecution of a hate crime.
