AOC Says She Will File Articles of Impeachment Against Supreme Court

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is about to waste some serious time and taxpayer dollars on a goose chase.

After the Supreme Court ruled on the presidential immunity case, more or less telling us what we already knew, she lost her mind.

AOC is now saying that once Congress comes back in session, she will present impeachment papers against unnamed members of the court.

Out of Her Mind

There has been one justice that was impeached in the entire history of country, and that trial did not make it out of the Senate.

After being impeached by the House, Justice Samuel Chase was acquitted by the Senate.

AOC believes she will make history, stating, “The Supreme Court has become consumed by a corruption crisis beyond its control.

“Today’s ruling represents an assault on American democracy. It is up to Congress to defend our nation from this authoritarian capture.

“I intend on filing articles of impeachment upon our return.”

This, of course, comes from a bogus narrative regarding the presidential immunity ruling by the court.

That ruling did not excuse Trump for anything that he is currently on trial for, not even remotely close to giving Trump immunity.

All the court did was reaffirm that a sitting president has immunity from prosecution for official acts as president.

This would not cover a rogue action, such as sending a SEAL Team after a political rival, as Justice Sotomayor claimed.

So, AOC is grabbing some headlines, which will get her some votes, but this is all grandstanding, at best.

What it really is, is shameful, for deceiving the American people regarding that ruling.

Sadly, there are people on both sides of the aisle doing this and it is an absolute disgrace.
