Anti-Israel Protester Sobs During Arraignment
All around the country, we have seen anti-Israel protests taking place.
I actually prefer to call them pro-Palestine because it stresses the fact they are supporting a terror state.
One of those protesters wound up behind bars after making some rather nasty comments aimed at the Bakersfield, CA, mayor and city council, breaking down during her arraignment hearing.
Do the Time for the Crime
According to reports, Riddhi Patel, 28, had allegedly threatened to kill city officials in Bakersfield during a recent city council meeting.
Patel aimed much of her hate at the Republican mayor of the city, Karen Goh.
Patel was upset that Goh was not backing the recent resolution calling for Israel to have a cease-fire with its war against Hamas.
During the city council meeting, Patel allegedly stated, "I remind you that these holidays that we practice, that other people in the global south practice, believe in violent revolution against their oppressors, and I hope one day somebody brings the guillotine and kills all of you mother------.”
In closing out her remarks, she claimed, "We’ll see you at your house. We’ll murder you."
As Patel wrapped up her remarks, Goh ordered local police to take her into custody for her threatening comments.
Patel was then arrested and charged with eight counts of threatening state officials and 10 counts of making threats with intent to terrorize.
Patel was not so tough during her arraignment hearing, sobbing in the court while ordered to be held on $1 million bail as well as a restraining order for her to stay at least 500 yards away from City Hall.
She reminds me of all the tough-guy keyboard warriors on the internet who find out their threats don’t work the same way when they are standing before someone in person.
We can only hope the court makes an example of her rather than doing what we see all too often, no repercussions for this disgusting behavior.
