‘All My Children’ Star Dead at 50

Yet another daytime TV star has passed away unexpectedly.

This time it was Alec Musser, who starred as Del Henry on “All My Children” for three seasons, appearing in 43 episodes of the soap.

Musser was only 50 years old.

He’s Gone

Musser’s fiancée, Paige Press, broke the news on Sunday, claiming that Musser had “a severe case of COVID.”

While his autopsy has not yet been reported, Press stated that she believed that was what had killed him.

She stated, "He was a very healthy person. I mean he took exceptional care of his body and what went into it. …He'd eat some cookies and that was the worst thing I ever saw him do.

"Alec was a wonderful man. He was the best fiancé. The best dog dad. Very kind-hearted person.

"Seeing how many messages and people have reached out to me from his childhood…In the last couple of days, people I’ve never even met, sending me photos from him from high school and when he was in there wedding…He was so loved and touched by so many people."

As noted above, Musser’s big claim to fame was “All My Children,” but that was not his only acting credit on his resume.

He starred in “Road to the Altar” as well as appearing in five episodes of “Rita Rocks” in 2009.

Other than “All My Children,” many may recognize him for the role he played in 2010’s “Grown Ups,” an Adam Sandler movie.

Musser played the water park stud with the high-pitched voice that tried to hit on all the wives.

Sandler expressed his condolences on social media, writing, "I loved this guy.

"Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person."

His last credit is playing Friedrich on “Desperate Housewives” in 2011.
