Alice Cooper Dropped by Sponsor After He Speaks Out Against Child Transgender Movement

Rock legend Alice Cooper has been canceled by a cosmetics company that had sponsored him after his recent comments.

Cooper noted publicly in a statement that a "woman is a woman and a man is a man."

"Vampyre Cosmetics made the announcement Friday in an Instagram post," Breitbart News reported.

“In light of recent statements by Alice Cooper we will no longer be doing a makeup collaboration. We stand with all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and believe everyone should have access to healthcare. All pre-order sales will be refunded,” the company said.

"I'm understanding that there are cases of transgender, but I'm afraid that it's also a fad, and I'm afraid there's a lot of people claiming to be this just because they want to be that," recently said.

"I find it wrong when you've got a 6-year-old kid who has no idea. He just wants to play, and you're confusing him, telling him, 'Yeah, you're a boy, but you could be a girl if you want to be,'" he continued.

Cooper went on in his comments to the question, "Who makes the rules?" adding that he was simply being logical about the situation.

The controversy adds to the conflict over transgender views that have become a major issue for companies and schools in recent years.

Cooper is also one of several celebrities to endure criticism for simply affirming basic biology, with a company ending its relationship with him over the view.

The odd twist could lead to conservatives embracing Alice Cooper in a new way, creating an interesting collaboration in the conversation over gender identity.
