Afghanistan Fallen’s Families Say Biden-Harris Never Reached Out to Them
August 26 marked the three-year anniversary of the bombing at Abbey Gate in Afghanistan that cost 13 American troops their lives.
In those three years, according to the families of the fallen, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have failed to reach out to them.
Yet, during that time, they have both called the families of suspects who were shot by police, so that should tell you where their priorities lie.
A Disgrace
I honestly have no idea how a single service member could ever support Joe Biden or Kamala Harris.
I go back to the debate where Joe Biden claimed no troops have lost their lives on foreign soil during this administration.
Or how about Joe Biden checking his watch when the bodies of the fallen were returned to the United States in a sign of complete disrespect?
Say what you want about Trump, but the man never shied away from his duties as president when troops had fallen on his watch.
For better or worse, Trump received the bodies and met with the families, be it to comfort them or let them vent to him… he stood tall in those moments.
On the 3rd anniversary of their deaths, Trump went to Arlington National Cemetery to lay a memorial wreath, and the media and the Harris campaign blasted him for doing so.
Senator JD Vance (R-OH), Donald Trump’s running mate, also took part in a conference call with the families.
Gold Star father Mark Schmitz appreciated Trump and Vance's gestures, but he had nothing good to say about Harris and Biden.
He stated, "I think this administration has shown they have treated the Afghanistan withdrawal like the plague – they’ve stayed as far away from it as they possibly can.
"I’m not surprised in the least bit that neither one of them would show up for this event."
He added, "It is pretty obvious that when things get tough, they go running. This is yet another spit in the face to the 13 families.”
When asked about the claim that Trump was only doing this for political gain or a photo op, Schmitz responded, "I don’t see this as being part of his political campaign in any way, shape, or form..
"He has always vowed to be there for us—since we met with him early on—and he has never let us down."
Gold Star Aunt Cheryl Juels also chimed in, stating, "[Biden] has never once reached out to any of our families.
"Kamala Harris has never once reached out. Kamala Harris supported [Biden] this entire time."
Yes, as we noted above, it seems like every time a criminal suspect is shot by police, Biden and Harris pick up that phone before the ink on the report is dry.
It seems pretty clear who Harris represents; it is surely not our troops or law-abiding citizens.
