Adele ‘A Bit Deaf’ from Ear Infection

Recently, singer Adele announced that she would take a break after her residency in Las Vegas was over and possibly never perform again.

There were not many details about why, but it would seem that the singer just cleared some of that up.

Adede is reportedly suffering from a very rare ear infection that left her partially deaf in one ear.

Troubling Times

Adele clearly has not been her usual self the last few months, and it is also clear that she is looking forward to the end of her residency.

The last show will be held on November 23, wrapping up a residency that has been off and on since 2022 at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace.

Current pricing for the tickets is floating around $1,000, but I would imagine the tickets for her final show are going to be through the roof.

A quick look on StubHub, center stage tickets are already priced as high as $67,000 in the lower section. Even tickets in the 400 level are going for nearly $5,000 for her final show.

Now that she has revealed a health issue, that could possibly be the last time she ever takes the stage for a full concert, so those prices are only going to rise.

Adele explained, "I actually have an ear infection, which is pretty grim.

"I’ve never had one before, it's in this ear. It’s the most painful thing that’s ever, ever happened to me in my life, it was worse than childbirth.

"It’s a rare water bacteria that is very hard to treat. I was on the wrong antibiotics for a few days, and they managed to give me one that started to work, which is great. I'm a bit deaf. A bit deaf in my left ear."

Adele broke the news in Munich that she would not be doing many more performances, stating at the time, "I have 10 shows to do, but after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart.”

Since she arrived in the music world, she has taken the industry by storm. She is absurdly talented with an absolutely mesmerizing voice.

Sadly, it is a voice that will now be gone well before its time.
