Actor Paul Teal Cause of Death Revealed

Last week, we reported that “One Tree Hill” actor Paul Teal had passed away.

We reported that we knew he had some medical issues, but his cause of death was only speculative at that point.

Today, it has been confirmed that his death was caused due to complications of his previous cancer diagnosis.

He’s Gone

Only seven months ago, Teal had been diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer.

Unfortunately, this is a form of cancer that is almost always found by accident when a patient is in the hospital for something else.

Sadly, by the time it is found, there is very little that can be done other than to make the patient comfortable.

Teal’s fiancé, Emilia Torello, confirmed his death this week, adding, “He was the most talented man I’ve ever met.

“When he set his mind to something, there was no stopping him. He was the most diligent and dedicated person.

“I truly believed with all of my heart that he would come out the other side of this because of those traits. That’s what makes this loss even more tragic.”

Teal was best known for playing Josh on “One Tree Hill,” but he did have several other notable roles.

In fact, I just watched a movie the other night that he starred in: “Deep Water.”

In that movie, he played Deputy Clark.

The movie is a thriller with Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas, where De Armas has blatant affairs in the presence of her husband, Affleck, who is suspected of making her lovers disappear.

Teal had just landed a new gig in an upcoming streaming series on Starz, “The Hunting Wives.”

Another promising young life snuffed out by this horrible disease.

Rest in peace, young man.
