And let the rumors fly…
Only days after Governor Kristi Noem endorsed Trump and seemingly became the frontrunner to be his VP, she was smacked with salacious rumors.
According to the reports, Noem is and has been having an affair with Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski.
He's Gone
According to reports, Noem's husband moved out of the governor's mansion and back to their regular house.
Now, keep in mind, he has a business, which would require significant travel back and forth if he remained in the governor's mansion full-time.
The reports also claimed that Noem and Lewandowski were seen compromised in public situations on multiple occasions.
Now, I have already stated that I find it very hard to believe that this has been going on for months without it being reported.
Noem's office responded to the allegations, stating, "This is so predictable that you would attack Governor Noem less than a week after she endorsed Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States.
"As Governor Noem said during that endorsement speech: 'Yes, I will be attacked for speaking the truth to all of you tonight. Yes, I expect Joe Biden, these candidates, their political operatives, and the media will perpetuate ugly, hateful misinformation in an attempt to destroy me and my family because of my opinions. It's nothing new. I'm getting used to it, honestly.'"
As far as the initial reporting goes, the story was broke by the Daily Mail, which Vanity Fair reported claims it has receipts to prove the allegations. This includes, "stays at luxury resorts where their intimacy was observed and noted."
The affair allegedly started in 2019 when Lewandowski was serving as an adviser to Noem.
The Daily Mail reported, "In the months leading up to the 2020 election, Noem and Lewandowski became virtually inseparable companions on the Trump campaign trail. By then, their relationship was an open secret at the White House and among high-level GOP lobbyists and political consultants."
There is another story attached to that where Noem cut Lewandowski from her team, where he was volunteering, because he allegedly propositioned a donor's wife.
Lewandowski has been considered a bit of a slimeball for years, so the rumors about him are to be expected, but it is hard to imagine Noem with someone like him.
Either we are all being duped by her persona or she has been running around secretly with Lewandowski for years. I mean, nobody has a single picture of them acting like this and they were allegedly going this out in the open for years? To quote Joe Biden, "C'mon man!"
I just refuse to believe this until I see some actual hard proof of the affair. Hearsay is just not going to do it for me on this one.
