Rubio: More than 250 gang members deported
This administration has made it quite clear it is not playing games when it comes to deporting nefarious actors who entered this country illegally.
Border Czar Tom Homan and DHS Secretary Noem have been at this non-stop since coming into office, and now Secretary of State Marco Rubio is getting in on the action.
On Sunday, Rubio announced that more than 250 illegals with gang ties have been deported to El Salvador.
Good Riddance
Gangs and cartels took advantage of Joe Biden’s loose border policies to send hundreds, if not thousands, of operatives into this country.
Homan and company put them all at the top of the list to deport after Trump took office.
Among the most feared gangs in the world are members of the MS-13 gang, but they just lost a considerable number of soldiers they had placed in this country.
Rubio announced on X, "We have sent 2 dangerous top MS-13 leaders plus 21 of its most wanted back to face justice in El Salvador. Also, as promised by @POTUS, we sent over 250 alien enemy members of Tren de Aragua which El Salvador has agreed to hold in their very good jails at a fair price that will also save our taxpayer dollars.
"President @nayibbukele is not only the strongest security leader in our region, he’s also a great friend of the U.S. Thank you!"
El Salvador President Nayib Bukele is all-in, apparently, cracking a joke after yet another liberal judge tried to block the deportation.
The judge had ordered the deportations to stop, demanding the criminals be returned to the United States, but they had already arrived in El Salvador, which drew the response from Bukele, “Oopsie, too late!”
Judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee, tried to block the deportation, but as White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated, “The Administration did not ‘refuse to comply’ with a court order. The order, which had no lawful basis, was issued after terrorist (Tren de Aragua) aliens had already been removed from U.S. territory.
“A single judge in a single city cannot direct the movements of an aircraft carrier full of foreign alien terrorists who were physically expelled from U.S. soil.”
I think these judges are getting out of hand. I have no problem with Trump’s executive orders being challenged, as I think these cases are all needed to define presidential powers, but how can the deportation of criminals who entered this country illegally be challenged?
As far as I can see, especially since Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act, this deportation is completely above board. We appear to have more activists on the bench than legitimate jurors.
I really hope someone in the DOJ is keeping tabs on lower court rulings that get overturned on appeal or by the Supreme Court so we can start to impeach the activists and get back to judges dispensing justice rather than taking up liberal causes.
