Bondi slams judge who blocked Trump from employing Alien Enemies Act in deportation matter

Attorney General Pam Bondi’s recent statement on U.S. District Judge Hames Boasberg just vindicated President Donald Trump.

Bondi has criticized Judge Boasberg over his decision to block the deportations of several suspected members of violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Argua.

Bondi said that Boasberg had “supported” Tren de Argua “terrorists over the safety of Americans.”

Bondi’s comments come after Boasberg “ordered the Trump administration to immediately halt efforts to remove those Venezuelan migrants.”

Politico news reported that the fate of the migrants will not be determined until after Boasberg decides if the decision to invoke Alien Enemies Act “was legal” or not.

The 1798 Alien Enemies Act allows for the “expedited removal” of migrants.

“Invocation of the Alien Enemies Act Regarding the Invasion of The United States by Tren De Aragua,” was requested by the Trump himself in one of his recent presidential action.

They went on to describe the Tren de Aragua gang as “a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization with thousands of members, many of whom have unlawfully infiltrated the United States and are conducting irregular warfare and undertaking hostile actions against the United States.”

When Boasberg stopped Trump’s efforts, Bondi shredded the judge.

“Tonight, a DC trial judge supported Tren de Aragua terrorists over the safety of Americans,” Bondi began.

“TdA is represented by the ACLU. This order disregards well-established authority regarding President Trump’s power, and it puts the public and law enforcement at risk,” the attorney general went on.

“The Department of Justice is undeterred in its efforts to work with the White House, the Department of Homeland Security, and all of our partners to stop this invasion and Make America Safe Again,” Bondi added.

Reports have indicated that the order from Boasberg came after a lawsuit was “brought on behalf of five named Venezuelan immigrants.”

“The Proclamation is expected to authorize ‘immediate’ removal of noncitizens that the Proclamation deems to be alien enemies, without any opportunity for judicial review,” the lawsuit wrote.

“It also contorts the plain language of the AEA: arrivals of noncitizens from Venezuela are deemed an ‘invasion’ or ‘predatory incursion’ by a ‘foreign nation or government,’ where Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan gang, is deemed to be sufficiently akin to a foreign nation or government,” it added.
