Secret Service shoots man outside of White House

With the bad orange man in the White House, the loonies are coming out in full force.

Case in point, around midnight on March 9, a man was spotted trying to infiltrate the White House.

Secret Service opened fire and reportedly hit the man, but his condition is not currently known.

Be on the Lookout

According to local reports, police had been informed that a man with suicidal tendencies was in the vicinity of the White House late Saturday night who had traveled from Indiana.

Just after midnight, police spotted the man, stating, “Secret Service personnel were involved in a shooting following an armed encounter with a person of interest shortly after midnight on March 9.”

The statement continued, “As officers approached, the individual brandished a firearm and an armed confrontation ensued, during which shots were fired by our personnel.”

While the suspect was shot, there were no injuries reported for Secret Service personnel or local police.

The incident is currently under investigation by the DC Metropolitan Police Department Internal Affairs Division.

Donald Trump was not at the White House, as Trump is typically at Mar-a-Lago on weekends, which is where he was at the time of the incident.

This is now the second time that someone has tried to infiltrate the White House with Trump as president.

If you recall, in August 2020, a man approached Secret Service agents, which also led to the agents opening fire.

The statement at the time read, “The suspect then turned around, ran aggressively towards the officer, and in a drawing motion, withdrew the object from his clothing. He then crouched into a shooter’s stance as if about to fire a weapon. The Secret Service officer discharged his weapon striking the individual in the torso.”

At the time of that shooting, Donald Trump was in the White House, giving a press conference. Trump was taken to safety, then returned to the briefing after the agents were able to get the situation under control.

This now makes at least four incidents with someone looking to kill Donald Trump.

In addition to these two instances, Donald Trump has had two assassination attempts against his life.

The first of those took place in Butler, PA, during a campaign rally, where Trump was lucky to have escaped with his life.

In the second attempt, Secret Service agents spotted the shooter before he could get off a shot, opened fire, then apprehended the suspect after he had fled the scene.
