Barack Obama flies solo at Clippers game

Get ready for the divorce rumors to go into overdrive after Barack Obama was again spotted flying solo.

We all know Obama is a HUGE basketball fan, so it was not a surprise to see him at the Clippers game this week.

What got everyone’s back up was the fact that the former president was playing third wheel with Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and his wife, Connie Snyder.

What’s Going On

The Obamas have said and done all the right things on social media regarding their marriage, but Barack and Michelle Obama seem to be making a lot of solo appearances lately, which was not the norm before.

For instance, on Valentine’s Day, the couple posted their affection for each other, which has always struck me as funny.

Barack posted, “Thirty-two years together and you still take my breath away.”

Michelle also posted, “If there’s one person I can always count on, it’s you, @BarackObama. You’re my rock. Always have been. Always will be. Happy Valentine’s Day, honey!”

So, if that is how you feel, instead of posting on social media, why not just say it to each other. My experience has been that people that flagrantly post this kind of affection are actually miserable, so that is weighing into me buying into these separation rumors as well.

Rumors have been flying for months that all was not right in the Obamas marriage, and these solo appearances are only going to make the rumors fly even more.

In addition to Obama flying solo at the Clippers game, he was by himself for Trump’s presidential inauguration, which was not really surprising with Michelle’s very outspoken opinion of Trump.

When Barack went solo for the funeral of Jimmy Carter, however, even I started to buy into the idea that something may be amiss here.

The reason given was that Michelle was on an “extended holiday vacation” in Hawaii, but it just seems odd that a former First Lady would miss such a monumental event for Democrats.

The night before the Clippers game, social media was abuzz that Barack was having dinner with daughters Malia and Sasha, but again, no Michelle.

Obviously, this is all rumor right now, but with the Obamas being THE DC Power Couple, a breakup would shake the trees quite a bit.

In addition to the couple’s political influence, there is the empire they have built together that would have to get split up. Perhaps that is why they are staying together but appearing to live separate lives right now.

Until people see them both in the same room again, these rumors will continue to fly.
