Fiancée of rocker plunges from cruise ship after argument

The crew of a Royal Caribbean cruise ship had to rush to action after the girlfriend of Faster Pussycat’s frontman, Taime Downe, went overboard.

Downe’s group was on board the ship for an 80’s cruise.

Kimberly Burch and Downe have reportedly been together for about six years.

Just Performed

Just hours before the incident, Downe and Faster Pussycat had performed on the ship as part of the theme of the cruise.

Burch had posted several pictures on her personal social media account documenting the trip.

The couple looked happy in all the photos but according to reports, Burch and Downe had gotten into an argument not long before she went overboard.

Video surfaced of the cruise, with the crew announcing, “We do actually have a person overboard.

“And just to advise you, the captain has turned the ship around, and we will have to be seeking for the person who is reported to go overboard. We are following all of our visual protocols, and we will keep you updated with the progress.”’

Burch went overboard about 20 miles outside of Freeport, Bahamas, and the video showed smaller search vessels patrolling the ocean trying to locate her, but they were unsuccessful, and the search was eventually called off.

According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Burch jumped off the ship, but her mother is “confident Kimberly wouldn’t purposefully hurt herself.”

According to Downe, Burch was drinking heavily, so the only alternatives are that Downe pushed her overboard, or she was drunk and accidentally fell overboard.

The news was broken to the family by Downe, with her mother, Carnell Burch, stating, “Taime [Dpwne] called her on Monday to deliver the heartbreaking news.

“Kimberly had been drinking on the cruise — something that was out of character for her. She adds Kimberly wasn’t dealing with any depression or emotional issues, and was actually excited about the trip out of Miami.”

The death is still under investigation, so it will be interesting to see what local authorities are able to uncover.

I would have to think there is video surveillance footage of the deck, so they should be able to get a realistic timeline together as well as what actually took place on that deck.

I cannot imagine a more horrible way to die than falling overboard and seeing that ship pull away while you are taking on water. Just horrible.
