New book reveals alleged rift between Ivanka and Jared and Donald Trump

Michael Wolff has released a new book called “All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America.”

If the reporting of the book is accurate, which the Trump camp claims it is not, there was a rift between Donald Trump and his daughter, Ivanka, as well as her husband, Jared Kushner.

The couple refused to endorse Trump, breaking from politics, reportedly amid a rift over previous comments made by Donald Trump that were deemed to have been anti-Semitic (Jared Kushner is Jewish).

Problems at Home

When Donald Trump announced that he was going to run for office again, Ivanka and Jared announced that they would not be part of the second administration.

Most of us assumed it was because of the criticism that they took as liberals who were advancing leftist policies during the administration.

While that may have played a role, it seems to run much deeper than that, if Wolff’s book is accurate.

Wolff claims that the couple was upset over comments previously made by Donald Trump that were being characterized as anti-Semitic.

The media continuously tried to get Ivanka and Jared to commit to endorsing Trump, but that endorsement never came.

When Kushner was pushed again, he had stated, "No, Ivanka and I aren’t going to do that. We’re not going to go and put our names on something and get in the middle of things. That’s just not what we’re going to do this time."

The statement reportedly upset Donald Trump.

I have also seen reports where Ivanka expressed her love for her father, saying she would support him and hoped he won, but again, I don’t recall her ever outright endorsing her father.

As for the book itself, the Trump camp has already started to push back, calling the entire book a work of fiction.

White House Communication Director Steven Cheung was eloquent as usual, stating, “Michael Wolff is a lying sack of shit and has been proven to be a fraud.” I remain baffled as to why Trump chose this man to be his primary mouthpiece, but so be it.

Cheung further stated that Wolff has a “sick and warped imagination, only possible because he has a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain.”

Knowing Donald Trump’s history, I tend to believe that he was upset that they did not endorse him, so we will have to see how all this plays out moving forward. But if you have noted, Ivanka has not been around much at all since Trump was re-elected, so take that for whatever it’s worth.
