REPORT: Father of Lindsay Lohan arrested

The "Mean Girls" star, Lindsay Lohan, is being disgraced by her father.

Reports surfaced this weekend that her father, Michael Lohan, had been arrested.

He allegedly got physical with his estranged wife, Kate Major Lohan, and was arrested for felony assault in Texas.

According to reports obtained by Fox News, Lohan had been accused of "continuous violence against the family."

The Harris County Sheriff's Office stated, "On Friday February 21, 2025, the complainant (Kate Lohan) was at a medical follow up, when the defendant (Michael Lohan) was observed by Ms. Lohan in the parking lot of the building. A 911 call was placed, and deputies responded.

"She told deputies that Lohan had flipped her out of a chair at their residence a few days earlier. The complainant felt pain and discomfort. A female deputy was able to witness the bruising on the complainant's body."

He was arrested in Harris County at his home and was held on $30,000 bail. Lohan was due in court on Monday.

Kate Major Lohan stated, "I’m praying for privacy for the sake of my kids and myself and pray justice is finally served."

Kate is not Lindsay's mother, but the couple did share two children, both sons.

Lohan's representative, Mike Quinn, stated, "We want to take a moment to recognize Michael Lohan as a devoted father, and I’ve only known him as a loving husband, and a man who has proudly maintained his sobriety for over a decade.

"His dedication to his younger boys and his unwavering support for his wife, Kate, reflect his deep love and commitment to his family.

"Michael has consistently stood by Kate’s side, offering his support through her own journey toward sobriety—a challenge they’ve faced together with courage and compassion.

"As friends of both Michael and Kate, my wife and I truly care for them and believe in their character. We are confident that Michael will be fully cleared in this matter."

With these reports blowing up all over the place, Michael Lohan finally broke his silence, stating, "I've shut up long enough about Kate's physical, emotional, and verbal abuse. She set me up.

"Originally she said I was stalking her! Really? Lol. Then, when that didn't work, she said, I pushed her over a chair which is a total lie."

Both Michael and Kate have a history of legal issues, with Michael having been charged with harassment and obstruction of breathing, and Kate having been charged with "drunkenly attacking" Michael.

She has also been arrested for DUI in 2020, so this a couple that clearly has some problems.
