Vatican says Pope Francis suffering from ‘complex clinical' condition
Over the last week, Pope Francis has been experiencing more medical issues.
He was admitted to the hospital for what was initially believed to be the flu or something along those lines.
Now, the Vatican is saying something far more serious.
Complex Clinical Picture
The official release from the Vatican stated, “All the tests carried out to date are indicative of a complex clinical picture that will require adequate hospitalization.”
The Pope has been in the hospital since Friday, initially admitted with a fever and an infection.
He has had more than his fair share of medical issues in recent years.
As a very young man, the Pope had part of his lungs removed due to pleurisy.
In 2020, he missed duties when his sciatica flared up, which was actually the first time he had missed a major religious event since taking over as Pope.
In July 2021, he had a portion of his colon removed.
In 2022, the Pope was forced to cancel a trip due to problems he was having walking.
Since 2023, he has had repeated flu and related issues that have caused him to be hospitalized or miss duties.
In June 2023, the Pope had to have surgery for a hernia.
In December 2024 and January 2025, the Pope suffered falls, injuring his face in the first fall and his arm in the second one.
There have been calls for the Pope to step down, but he insists that his health and physical issues are not getting in the way of him running the Catholic Church.
My readers know I am no fan of this Pope, as I believe he is more of a political leader than a religious one, not to mention his hypocrisy regarding our immigration issues.
He has been very outspoken regarding the United States deporting illegals, yet he lives at the Vatican, surrounded by walls that are protected by his security team.
As I have said before, when he opens the doors of the Vatican and houses illegals, then he can start to comment about our immigration laws.
Until then, he really just needs to keep quiet and worry about the Catholic Church, which is a complete and utter mess.
