Is AOC breaking the law by advising illegals
After Donald Trump announced his immigration agenda, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) decided to try to take matters into her own hands.
She has now started to provide resources for illegal immigrants to avoid capture by ICE.
Now Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, is questioning if what she is doing is illegal.
Breaking the Law
Democrats continue to push the narrative that there is nothing wrong with illegal immigration.
Even the media has bought into the idea that someone crossing the border illegally is not really a criminal, even though they have clearly broken a law.
When you knowingly help someone who has committed a crime, that is aiding and abetting, and now Homan is talking to the DOJ about whether AOC could be indicted for her webinars.
To that point, Homan stated, “Is she crossing the line? I’m working with the Department of Justice in finding out, where is that line that they cross? So maybe AOC’s going to be in trouble now.”
When he was asked directly if she should be prosecuted, he added, “I'm suggesting that I asked the Department of Justice, where is that line on impediment, right? It’s a broad statute. So, I know, impeding, with someone stopped in front of me and put their hands on my chest, saying, ‘You’re not coming in here to arrest that guy,’ that’s clearly impeding.
“But at what point? Where’s the line on impeding? Because you can call it ‘Know Your Rights’ all you want. We all know what the bottom line is. The bottom line is, how do they evade law enforcement?”
When AOC was asked about her webinars, she had the audacity to say that Homan may only be “vaguely” familiar with our immigration laws.
Homan responded, “Vaguely familiar with the U.S. immigration law. I’ve done this since 1984. I forgot more about the immigration law than AOC will ever know.
“As a matter of fact. I had explained to her that entering the country illegally was actually a crime. So, you know, I’m not going to play that game with her.”
Liberals were outraged when a fake Lara Trump account asked for a “thumbs up” for everyone who supported AOC being arrested, but I think they got it right.
Nobody is above the law, right? So, if AOC is aiding and abetting illegals, she should be indicted and forced to defend her position as an elected official of this country, openly helping criminals avoid capture and prosecution for the crimes they have committed.
