Mexican Cartel Operatives Open Fire on Agents Near Southern Border

The fun has already started at the border.

The Mexican Cartel is not very happy with Donald Trump’s new border plan.

To that point, reports broke on Monday that Cartel operatives had opened fire on Border Patrol agents near the Texas border.

Donald Trump is just looking for a reason to unleash our military at the border to take out the Cartel, and he may have just gotten it.

Reports broke on Monday that Cartel operatives had exchanged fire with Border Patrol agents at the Rio Grande Valley Sector.

Agents reportedly sustained no injuries, but this is a clear escalation on the part of the Cartel to protect its border smuggling operations.

According to the reports, agents were doing a normal routine patrol when the Cartel opened fire on them.

Law enforcement explained that they had four Cartel members caught on an island between Mexico and Texas.

After the initial exchange, Border Patrol Tactical (BORTAC), which is an elite unit of the Border Patrol, arrived at the scene.

Mexican Army trucks were also visible along the border around the same area where the Cartel had shown up.

Donald Trump and Border Czar Tom Homan have been adamant that the border will be locked down and criminal migrants will be sent back to their home countries.

Arrests have been ticking up daily, with Homan now coming close to 1,000 arrests per day, which is right around the target Trump set for the early stages of this operation.

The goal issued by Homan was to target all criminal illegals first, then as the plan gets funded by Congress, it will branch out to all illegal immigrants that have entered the country.

Democrats seem to conveniently forget that once you cross the border illegally, you have broken the law, therefore you are a criminal.

Liberal crybabies seem to think all these people are seeing asylum, but it is only a small percentage of illegals that actually have asylum cases, and before Biden came into office, that approval rate averages less than 20% per year.

You cross illegally, you are a criminal, and should be sent back home and banned from ever entering this country or applying for asylum again.
