Lara Trump shares hopes for next 4 years
Lara Trump, the former Republican National Committee chair and daughter-in-law to President Donald Trump, just went public.
Mrs. Trump sat down for an interview with Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee on the lawmaker's podcast, Unmuted with Senator Marsha Blackburn.
During the episode, Lara Trump talked about her optimism for what Donald Trump will be able to accomplish during his second term in office.
“Well, you know, my hope for the next four years is, obviously, that we see all of the bad policy decisions that really have hurt the American people rectified,” she explained.
“And I think you’re going to see that very quickly. I think day one when Donald Trump steps foot back at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue into that Oval Office, he’s going to start signing executive orders,” Lara Trump continued.
She was far from finished, going on to discuss Donald Trump’s plan to address America’s border crisis, energy issues, and the mess left behind by President Joe Biden’s administration.
“He’s going to protect our southern border. He’s going to make us energy independent again, hopefully energy dominant again. He’s going to turn around the ship that Joe Biden unfortunately has just sailed completely in the wrong direction for this country,” Lara Trump raved.
Lara Trump went on to discuss how she believes “that his legacy will be unity for.”
“He’s not out for revenge. He’s not out for retribution,” Lara Trump also said.
“Now, if anyone did anything wrong, then they should be punished accordingly. But, I think he wants every American’s life to be better, and I think once people start feeling that, it’s gonna be pretty hard to hate this guy, like they’ve been trying to convince people to do so. My hope is that he is a unifying figure,” Lara Trump concluded.
Lara Trump noted that as Trump’s daughter-in-law, she is hopeful “that people get a bit of insight” as to who Donald Trump really is.
