REPORT: Chuck Todd Shopping Around, Leaving NBC
Over the last few years, we have seen the role of Chuck Todd reduced at NBC.
It now appears that Todd is shopping his services wanting to leave NBC.
Reports have broken that Todd is actively meeting with other outlets.

Todd used to have one of the premiere Sunday slots hosting “Meet the Press.”
He is still considered the chief political analyst for the network, but his role has clearly been reduced, with Kristen Walker one if the more visible personalities of the network now.
With Todd having less of a presence, he is now apparently ready to jump ship and is very quietly shopping his services around.
Semafor reported, “Chuck Todd has quietly been meeting with Washington media organizations about his post-NBC future.
“The former host of Meet The Press has told top editors and leaders from other media organizations that he plans to leave NBC when his contract is up this year, and has discussed potential roles outside the network both in broadcast and digital media.”
Todd is in the last year of his contract with NBC.
Todd quickly rose through the ranks, named the moderator for the network’s flagship show, “Meet the Press,” in 2014.
Todd also hosted a daily political show on NBC, “MTP Daily,” which aired on MSNBC.
Nearly a decade after being assigned the post, Todd announced that he would be leaving “Meet the Press,” stunning the DC media, which Welker now hosts.
Both Todd and the network spun the demotion as Todd branching out into other projects, but he has been all but invisible since the demotion.
Todd has also been among the personalities that has pushed back against former Trump allies being hired as conservative commentators by the network, to the point the contract of Ronna McDaniel was canceled due to massive staff pushback.
We are starting to see a massive shift in the mainstream media due to the ratings hits they have all taken over the last decade, so it would not surprise me in the least to see NBC let Todd walk without much resistance.
