Trump bringing back familiar faces in key agency roles

There's only about one week to go until Donald Trump is sworn into the White House for the second time, and America is getting a clearer picture of what Donald's second administration is going to look like.

According to WashingtonExaminer.com, many people who Donald Trump is bringing back will be "familiar faces."

Although COVID, the BLM riots, and J6 all happened toward the end of Trump's presidency, many Americans feel as though their life was better under Donald Trump than what they experienced under Joe Biden.

Trump wants to make sure his presidency goes more smoothly than Joe Biden's did, so perhaps that's why Donald Trump is counting on many of the same people who made his first term a success.

Here's a look at some of the people Trump is bringing in for his tenure as America's 47th President.

Deputy Secretary of Transportation

When Trump announced that Steven Gill Bradbury would serve as deputy secretary of the Transportation Department, Donald pointed to Bradbury's work in the same department during Trump's first term.

"Bradbury helped rebuild our crumbling Infrastructure, and cut regulations that were killing jobs and our incredible Small Businesses," Trump said.

He will join former Wisconsin Republican, Representative Sean Duffy, who Trump has nominated to be the secretary of transportation.

Deputy Secretary of the Interior

Trump can be confident that Katharine MacGregor will do a good job as deputy secretary of the interior because she held the position for one year during Donald Trump's first term.

During Trump's first administration, MacGregor was easily confirmed for the position by a vote of 58-38 back in 2020.

Deputy Secretary of Energy

Donald Trump announced that James P. Danly will be his deputy secretary of energy after leading the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from 2020 to 2023.

Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs

For this role, Trump tapped Paul R. Lawrence, who served in the Department of Veterans Affairs during Donald Trump's first administration.

Trump said, "Paul was a great VA Under Secretary of Benefits in my First Term, implementing Legislation I signed to improve the GI Bill and Appeals Modernization. Paul also helped us drive the claims backlog to its LOWEST LEVEL in VA History."

Do you agree with Trump bringing back so many familiar faces, or would you have liked to see more new blood in Washington?
