Lip reader claims Trump asked Obama to 'find a quiet place' for the pair to talk
With all of the jabs that politicians throw at each other across the aisle, it can be seriously surprising to see our elected Republicans and Democrats actually getting along with each other.
America was captivated last week by the "chummy" conversation between Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Donald Trump that took place at the funeral of Jimmy Carter.
It shocked and confused a lot of Americans to see the two laughing together and apparently getting along at the event, considering how opposite their ideologies seem to be.
The people of the United States have been so desperate to know what Obama and Trump could have been saying to each other that lip readers have been asked to tell us what the two were probably saying.
The New York Post is reporting that a professional lip reader is suggesting that although Obama and Trump appeared to be laughing back and forth, they were actually having a very serious conversation.
Perhaps the two were aware that they were surrounded by cameras, so their behavior could have been influenced by that.
Forensic lip reader Jeremy Freeman is guessing that the particular conversation in question began when Trump leaned toward Obama and said something like "I’ve pulled out of that. It’s the conditions. Can you imagine that?"
Trump withdrew from Obama's 2015 Iran nuclear deal and the 2016 Paris agreement during his first term, although it's not clear if those were the instances of "pulling out" that Trump was referring to.
"Call me at the foy after, yep," Trump said.
"Can you just … it should be good." Obama replied.
What Trump said next indicates he was wary of video being taken:
I can’t talk, we have to find a quiet place sometime. This is a matter of importance and we need to do this outside so that we can deal with it, certainly, today.
Trump ordering Obama to be prepared for a future private conversation certainly has America talking! Do you agree with the lip-reader's assessment of what was said?
Based on professional lip-readers’ analysis of the video, Trump is telling Obama about some sort of deal he “pulled out of”, and that he needs to discuss a “matter of importance” in a “quiet place” today.
Trump is not cracking jokes. That’s a nervous laugh from Obama.
