Biden Title IX Rules Rejected by Judge
Once again, a court has ruled that Joe Biden overstepped his bounds with his significant changes to Title IX rules.
This time, it was U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves who ruled against Biden.
The new rules were already halted in red states, which have been fighting the regulations since Biden issued them.
Strike It Down
When Biden first issued the new rules, red-state Attorneys General aggressively fought against the regulations, claiming that Biden stepped way over the line.
Judge Reeves clearly agreed.
The lawsuit originated in Tennessee with a filing by Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti, and was later joined by more than two dozen red states.
Skrmetti stated, “Because the Biden rule is vacated altogether, President Trump will be free to take a fresh look at our Title IX regulations when he returns to office.”
Sarah Kate Ellis, president and CEO of GLAAD, a leading LGBTQ+ advocacy group, stated, “Protections for the most vulnerable students make the entire school safer and stronger for everyone.”
She, of course, was disappointed in the ruling, claiming it will only increase bullying of transgender students.
While Democrats make it out as though Republicans want to put transgenders in jail, that is not the case.
From a conservative perspective, there are two major concerns here.
The first is the obvious safety and competitive issues with women’s sports.
The second is young children being transitioned.
If adult men want to dress up and say they identify as women, I think very few people care.
This is about protecting women and children... nothing more. And it is actually quite ironic that it is the Republicans doing all this since the feminist movement is associated with liberals.
Yet, feminist activists are the ones arguing to allow biological men to compete in their sports.
