Fetterman Says He’s Willing to Work with Senator McCormick for ‘Better PA’

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) continues to extend his hand across the aisle.

Fetterman is one of the few Democrats who seems willing to support Trump’s cabinet picks.

Not only that, he recently came out to say that he would be willing to work with Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA) to help improve Pennsylvania.

Needs Help

As I have told you guys before, I grew up in Philadelphia, but that state has declined significantly since I left and moved out west.

I actually have to travel back that way this week, and I dread flying over my old neighborhood to see the disgrace that it is today.

I have come to despise the city I once loved, but Fetterman seems willing to work with McCormick to try to fix what is broken.

To that point, he stated that he was sorry to see his buddy Senator Casey (D-PA) go, but he was looking “forward to making a new one” in McCormick to help make the state better.

Fetterman created quite a buzz when he came out to say that he would not resist nominees like Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) as Secretary of State and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) as the UN Ambassador.

In fact, he enthusiastically endorsed Stefanik.

He does have some questions about other Trump nominees, but he is keeping an open mind, having stated, “But whoever I vote [for], it’s going to be an informed choice. And I see that as doing my job. I don’t see that as controversial.”

With the way we went after Fetterman during his election, he had every reason to give us the finger and tell us all to go pound sound, so I have to give him credit for putting all that in the rearview and looking forward.

Believe it or not, he has been one of the more reasonable Democrats in office and is now clearly someone that GOP can work with on legislation.

We still need to beat him when he comes up for re-election, but at least we know there is someone on the left who is at least willing to listen to compromise.
