Trump Ally Rudy Guiliani Found in Contempt During Defamation Case

The former mayor of New York City and former Donald Trump attorney and surrogate, Rudy Giuliani, is having a tough go of it.

By all accounts, once these cases are settled against Guiliani, he will be penniless.

And now he has been found in contempt by the judge presiding over his defamation case.

You Are Out of Order

U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman is not entertained by Giuliani’s antics, and he just dropped the hammer on the former mayor and attorney.

Giuliani got crushed in a defamation suit against two Georgie election workers, and it is likely to bankrupt Giuliani.

To that point, the former mayor was not in any hurry to turn over his financial information, as has been ordered by the court.

Giuliani lost his defamation suit, with Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss being awarded a massive judgment of $146 million.

The judge stated that Giuliani "willfully violated an unambiguous order of the court.”

He added, "The defendant has attempted to run the clock by stalling.

"Discovery is not supposed to be a shell game where the hidden ball is moved around and around.”

Giuliani testified remotely, saying that he wanted to comply, but he has so many cases going on now, the documents being required are getting confusing, even blaming his former attorney.

He testified, "Some days it is completely impossible because there are conflicting demands for material and appearances on the same day.”

It truly is a shame that someone who was once revered as an American hero for what he did after the 9/11 attacks is now considered a complete and utter disgrace.

Giuliani is in this pickle because he helped push Trump’s narrative regarding the 2020 election.

While Trump, for all intent and purposes, has been able to avoid any legal problems, dozens of people who helped Trump are now in deep legal problems, several having gone bankrupt, some sent to jail, and more than a dozen still have cases pending.
